Med armeringsstål avses svetsbart, kamprofilerat armeringsstål som tillverkats genom varmvalsning och/eller kallbearbetning av kolstål.

Typgodkännande är utfärdat baserat på följande nationella standarder och förordningar:​​

• SFS 1300:2020   - Reinforcing steels. Minimum requirements for weldable reinforcing steels and welded fabrics.

• Finlex 125/2016 - Regulation of the Ministry of the Environment on essential technical requirements  for weldable reinforcing steel and reinforcing mesh

• Finlex 126/2016 - Regulation of the Ministry of the Environment on type approval of weldable reinforcing steel and reinforcing mesh

• Finlex 555/2013 - Regulation of the Ministry of the Environment on product approvals for certain  construction products
